Four ways to breathe new life into old memories
Today we celebrate World Photography Day, a day to peek through the doors of our past, and dive into our overflowing camera rolls; last year’s birthday celebrations, a snap-happy weekend away, or your first (and possibly last) time giving oysters a go. All too often our landmark moments, as well as the fleeting and spontaneous, get lost in the depths of our phones — or, we’re so caught up in the moment that we forget to take a picture altogether.
But every once in a while, a scroll through the old gives us added gusto to go out and do it all over again. And if leaving the house isn’t possible (it’s 2020 after all), there’s still plenty of ways to turn today’s moments into tomorrow’s memories.
Luckily, we’ve got you covered. We’ve put together some tips that’ll inspire you whether you’re indoors or out, and some things to keep in mind when you’re framing the next shot.
Tell a story
This year’s been life-changing for all of us, and we’ve all got a story to tell. Scroll through your camera roll and pull out your highlights of 2020 — it’s a year we’ll never forget.
