Senior Product Designer (6-Month Fixed-Term Contract)
About the Role
Here at TouchNote, we're on a mission to help people nurture their most meaningful relationships, turning everyday moments into physical, personalised cards and gifts sent anywhere in the world. Founded in London and operating globally, we pioneered the subscription card-sending model and have built a product that sits right at the intersection of technology and human connection. People genuinely love what we do, and the team behind it is equally impressive. We move fast, trust our people, and have very little time for ego or unnecessary processes.
We're looking for an exceptional Senior Product Designer to join us on a 6-month fixed-term contract and own the experience of creating and sending a card, from the first spark of "I should send something" through to the quiet confidence that it arrived. This role leans more towards UX than UI. You'll spend most of your time on product thinking, user flows, research and shaping how the whole experience hangs together, working hand in hand with product to solve real customer problems. That said, you'll still need to be comfortable getting into the detail and producing high-quality UI when a project calls for it. You'll work alongside our existing designer, who leads on UI and brand, so between you the two of you cover the full spectrum.
This is a genuine ownership role. We're a startup within an established brand, which means very few layers, no barriers between design and product, and a strong design voice from day one. You'll see your work go live quickly and in front of hundreds of thousands of people, and you'll be instrumental not just to what we ship now but to the direction the product takes next. With a global customer base, proven product-market fit and a critical FY26 roadmap ahead, it's a rare chance to have real impact fast.
Key Responsibilities
Leading the UX across our core journeys: onboarding, card creation, personalisation, checkout and post-purchase reassurance
Shaping high-level flows and product direction, then following through into detailed, production-ready design when a project needs it
Working closely with product as a true partner, with a strong voice in what we build and why
Grounding your work in evidence, including customer interviews, usability testing, research and behavioural data
Designing and analysing experiments to validate ideas before we scale them
Helping crack our biggest challenge: turning one-time senders into people who make TouchNote a habit
Partnering with our existing UI and brand designer so the whole experience feels cohesive across platforms
Managing stakeholders across the business and bringing them along with your thinking
Communicating design decisions and rationale clearly at all levels
This is a hybrid role, and you'll be based in a London office two days a week.
Skills & Experience Required
5+ years of product design experience, end-to-end, ideally including consumer mobile products at scale
Strong UX foundations, where product thinking, user flows, research and stakeholder management are where you're happiest
Comfortable in the detail too, able to produce high-quality UI when a project needs it even if it isn't your main lean
A portfolio that shows real shipped work: the thinking, trade-offs and outcomes, not just pretty screens
Comfortable designing for iOS and Android as first-class citizens, not web afterthoughts
Strong with research and data, so you use evidence to make decisions and know how to read an experiment
Commercially curious, with a clear sense of how design connects to retention, repeat behaviour and revenue
Comfortable hitting the ground running, happy owning a brief on a short timeframe and delivering fast
A scrappy, hands-on mindset, someone who isn't precious about their job title and gets things done
Highly organised but flexible, able to manage autonomy well without needing hand-holding
A natural collaborator who can bring stakeholders along without losing pace
Bonus points for personalisation, e-commerce or subscription products, or work involving habit and retention
Perks
Free TouchNote cards (of course!)
Monthly company socials, building-wide events, and fun stuff!
Fresh snacks, coffee and drinks when you're in the office!
25 days of holiday.
Hybrid set-up, with 2 days (Tues & Thurs) in our office in Shoreditch.
Friday afternoons off!
Vitality health insurance.

We'd love to hear how you think and why this role appeals to you. We know AI is a genuinely useful tool and we're not precious about you using it, but please make sure your own voice comes through in your cover letter. That's the bit we actually want to read.
Product Lead (9-Month Fixed-Term Contract)
About the Role
Here at TouchNote, we're on a mission to help people nurture their most meaningful relationships, turning everyday moments into physical, personalised cards and gifts sent anywhere in the world.
Founded in London and operating globally, we pioneered the subscription card-sending model and have built a product that sits right at the intersection of technology and human connection. People genuinely love what we do, and the team behind it is equally impressive. We move fast, trust our people, and have very little time for ego or unnecessary process.
We're looking for an exceptional Product Lead to join us on a fixed-term maternity cover. We're at a pivotal stage of growth and need someone who can walk in, take ownership, and lead from day one.
This is a doer-leader role in a lean product team, meaning you'll roll up your sleeves across discovery, delivery and design, as well as set the strategic direction. With a global customer base, proven product-market fit, and a critical FY26 roadmap ahead, this is a startup-like environment within an established brand, offering both the stability of traction and the energy of a team that's still building.
Key Responsibilities
Owning and updating the product roadmap with full transparency across the business.
Running customer interviews, surveys and usability research to drive insight-led decisions.
Monitoring product KPIs and acting fast when something shifts.
Directly influencing key commercial metrics, including LTV, retention and repeat behaviour, across subscription, gifting and seasonal growth levers.
Designing and analysing experiments to validate ideas before scaling them.
Taking a hands-on role in UX/UI, shaping design direction and briefing external resource to a high standard.
Leading planning sessions, standups, retrospectives and growth sprints.
Line managing and developing a Product Manager and a Merchandising Executive, balancing strategic direction with people management.
Supporting agile ways of working within the tech team, including refinement, backlog grooming and ticket scoping.
Collaborating across every function, including tech, growth, finance, ops, data and CS, to refine and execute.
Keeping documentation clean and organised so the whole team has visibility.
Briefing and managing external design resource.
Communicating product progress across the wider business at all levels.
This is a hybrid role, with two days a week based in our London office.
Skills & Experience Required
8–10+ years of end-to-end product management experience in a D2C or consumer-facing business.
D2C experience is non-negotiable. You understand how to balance customer love with commercial performance.
Commercially minded, with an understanding of how product decisions connect to revenue. You're as focused on business outcomes as you are on the customer experience.
Comfortable working across both analytical and creative thinking. This role demands performance rigour and emotional storytelling in equal measure.
Strong with data. You can self-serve on analytics, interpret A/B tests, and make evidence-based decisions.
Comfortable leading customer research independently, including interviews, surveys and synthesis.
A scrappy, hands-on mindset. You're not precious about your job title and you get things done.
Highly organised but flexible, managing autonomy well without needing hand-holding.
A natural collaborator who can bring stakeholders along without losing pace.
Confident in line managing and developing others, even within a lean team structure.
