Halloween Hacks 🎃 How to create fangtastic Halloween looks at home!

Stuck for Halloween costume ideas? Look no further! We’ve teamed up with makeup artist Sarah Edwards-Knight to bring you 3 fangtastic Halloween Hacks.

Makeover your little monsters with bits and bobs from around the home or your handbag. Anyone can create these looks, you don’t have to be a make-up magician! Each tutorial is quick and fun, but Sarah’s top tips are:
– Keep it simple
– Make it snappy – you’ll have about 5 mins max with a toddler (if you are lucky)
– Use clean brushes and a water spray so that you don’t end up mixing the colours.
– Use natural products where possible as they’re gentler on younger skin.

It’s so easy it’s scary! And all those spooky snaps make petrifying postcards that are sure to make friends and family wail through the mail.

Over to you, Sarah!

Halloween Hack #1 – The Joker

I love this look because it’s super quick, really effective and actually pretty cute (especially on our model Rufus). Team this with an oversized jacket and a bright tie and you’re done!

What you’ll need:
– White face-paint
– Red Lipstick
– Dry shampoo
– Green Face-paint

Halloween Hack #2 – The Skeleton

This look is so on-trend right now, glitter and gems are big business! This is a great way to transform a classic skeleton face-paint into something more sparkly – maximum impact!

What you’ll need:
– Black face-paint
– Fine Glitter
– Chunky Glitter
– Hair Gel
– Gems
– Eyelash glue

Halloween Hack #3 – The Ghost

This is a very sweet and simple look for wriggly little ones, perfect for spooking the neighbours! And you only need 2 colours! Plus a touch of glitter on the veins and in the hair.

What you’ll need
– White face-paint
– Deep Purple face-paint
– Dry Shampoo
– Glitter

Get the look! Here’s the products we used:

And all of them are cruelty free!
