There are still plenty of reasons to share the love this year

Every June and through til August, cities across the globe are awash with rainbow flags, glitter doused crowds, and street celebrations as a tribute to those involved in the Stonewall Riots. More broadly, it’s to stand in solidarity with the LGBTQ+ community.

Unsurprisingly, however, this year’s celebrations have looked different to most. Street parties have either been postponed or cancelled, so it’s more important than ever to make our voices heard. For some, more so than ever.

So we’ve put together some of our favourite TouchNote user stories sharing the love this Pride season. And with our new range of artwork and stickers, there’re plenty of ways you can do the same!

“The postcard was sent to a close friend I work with. Since lockdown, we haven’t been able to see each other. I’m working from home, she’s in the office. We’re both key workers.

I wanted to let her know how much I missed skiving off for one too many coffees during our shift together, and wanted her to know that although I’m not physically in the office, I’m still there for her.

She means so much to me and your postcard service was a great way to let her know that.

She was super happy when she received it even going to the extent of calling me “cute” which is a lot for her. 😂

Fingers crossed we will meet up for a social distancing catch-up soon and get a coffee on our own time rather than works!

But until then we have our TouchNote postcards to keep us going!”

“I used the TouchNote App to send cards to my friends who I couldn’t be with in person to celebrate Pride this year. It’s the next best thing to being with them.”

“Having not seen my dad a long time before lockdown started, I wanted to send her something more personal than a normal Father’s Day card to let her know how much I loved her!

My dad always steps up when we need her and I liked the idea of her being able to stick this on her fridge so we were always there for her. My dad is an individual, unique and despite driving us crazy at times, inspiring. It seemed fitting to send her something as original as she is.”
